On 5 December 2017 at 10:30 the students of primary schools in all over Poland and Lithuania within a national educational “Code & Share. Program with class” action will attempt to set the Guinness World Record in programming. 52 schools from 26 cities in total were qualified to the strict finale. This action is the first of this kind in Poland organized by Fundacja ArchitectsPL (ArchitectsPL Foundation). Cloudware is the partner of this event.

On 15 November the stage of acceptance of participation declaration in the “Code & Share. Program with class” action was accomplished. 51 schools from Poland and 1 from Lithuania were qualified (the list of schools is available in the attachment). On 5 December at 10:30 hrs. sharp the students will start a programming class using the SCRATCH program. Since they intent to set the World Guinness Record, the action will respect the rules compliant with the Guinness World Records, supervised by an independent auditor, the Grant Thornton company.

The event will be preceded by a press conference, starting at 9:00 in Szkoła Podstawowa z Oddziałami Dwujęzycznymi nr 20 im. Jana Gutenberga Fundacji Szkolnej (Scholar Foundation Primary School with Bilingual Departments no. 20 of Jan Gutenberg at ul. Obrzeżna 12a in Warsaw. The action of setting the Guinness Record will be live broadcast on Facebook on the organizer’s fanpage channel: www.facebook.com/ArchitectsPL/.
